even moar tono stencils...

ROUND TWO

And I dunno how I missed it, but I forgot to do a close up version of the tono head with red drips only from the eyes... mistake amended!

Still dunno what to choose.......

moar Tono stencils

Just slamming the red drips on to the stencils... Still not sure about placement... ROUND ONE!

tono stencils...

Tono Bungay stencils... the rough outline version is because the brush pen was running dry... gave a nice effect though... the filled in version was made from the same stencil but using a new ink cartridge...

And below are the two images touched up slightly in photoshop. I didnt want to lose the grainy texture or the washy-looking ink in the filled-in version...

Whether I achieved this or not... idk...

Tono stencil

all-fuckin-right. I got bored looking at the images as they were, and as silhouettes are pretty easy to turn in to stencils I thought I would give it a bash for my current Tono-bungay design. I had to bea bit selective on details due to how thin some of the line work was...

If I can find a spray can amongst my supplies, I will give it a spray... though I will more likely just use paint or ink or something and see how it looks... UPDATEZ L8RZ YO

Tono Bungay mini update

Was a bit lazy, copy+paste is my friend

Love and Lewsham trois

Lord Snooty

Mr. Disinterested

The following are the head up / down images with the mortar board capping things off, however some tweaking was necessary as the original mortar board drawings werent large enough. Also, the only difference between the two pairs below is one of each pair has the tie with an outline... the other does not...
Just playing with... things...

Love and Lewsham 2

Alright, moving on... These are all the components I require for the Love and Lewsham cover... Im still unsure of whether his head should be tilted down to look at the book, or up to give a snooty appearance...
And no, I wish I could draw this good freehand, but I actually traced these...
And I cocked it up a bit as well, it was only when I got home did I realise I drew the initial heads with top hats, when I was planning to give them mortar boards. Still, it gives a wider selection to have top hat and mortar board, so its not all bad...

Love and Lewsham fluff

< This is crap

Swans will be an important fixture for the Love and Mr Lewsham front... I was running through all the best metaphors I could think of, and at least a couple of swans doesnt smell too obvious...

Kipps development 2

Bit more of the development here... collating images. Not sure about the highlight on the brim... maybe I should have it in the middle of the hat...

Kipps development

Ok so kipps is first off the block...

Just getting a more accurate feel for how the design will look with above and below...

above and below are traces from a phoo of Ed... I wish I could freehand this...
