I am running out of patience / time with these boards. If I have time later in the night, I might do one more stretch, though tbh I think I have a fair amount to play with.
These scenes follow directly after the previous uploads, the characters are hiding down an alley as they decide to go to Evelyn's flat. And then a rather silly trip up some stairs.

Even more storyboards
These are two short sequences, didnt see the point in uploading seperately.
The script jumps between two time periods - I have decided to focus on Evelyn and Mary's evasion of the govt., the "past" element of the script. It was visually more interesting than the "present" story, of Evelyn's younger brother. I will touch more on this later.

More story boards
So, whenever I look and read about storyboards, people seem to say that even stickmen will suffice. Even if my characterisation is flawed in the sequence, I doubt you could get confused with who is who.
Im taking too long getting these done, its probbly the colouring which is fucking me up. Its taken me about 4 hours to do 18 frames. Hmm. Well. We shall see how this rolls.
In some respects, I went a bit overboard with colouring, but it definitely helps identifying the characters.

Storyboard - Prologue
This is the end scene from the script's prologue. Everything before this is "archive" footage, of 9/11, 7/7 and Tony Blair talking to a crowd.
Loosely speaking, the story is set in an alternate version of Britain, where the country has come under totalitarian rule. In this sequence, we see Police roughly remove an infidel from his car, and one of the main characters introduce the setting (a bit).

Character Design (for some storyboards)
So, I needed a mini-project (storyboards) to pad out my major project (or so I have been informed by a couple of tutors).
This mini-project is two-fold, firstly, design the look of the major players. Secondly, storyboard the script.
Initially, I started storyboarding from the start, with the intention of producing EVERYTHING. Then I remembered that not EVERYTHING needs to be boarded, so I am now going to focus on major events in the script.
Anyway, here are the character designs - not much of a description was given to me, so I had to chase the script writer up for some info...
Percy: A civilian, wears glasses, looks like Jeff Goldblume in ID4. That was literally what I was told. So I drew Jeff Goldblume in ID4.
Evelyn: ragged looking, straggly hair, facial hair, ex-military, trenchcoat.
I took this and ran with it a bit, added a couple of my own ideas. Initially I had him in just a red hoody, but Grant wanted the trench coat for that military feel. I think the trenchcoat is a layer too many, but no matter.
Mary: French resistance-look, stripey top, beret, long scarf, long bob.
Very well recieved in feedback session. I was not exactly aiming for anatomical correctness here...
Oscar: short military buzz cut, armed forces.
Initially, Grant wanted him in naval attire. This would be a bit of a pain in the arse, and tbh, camo is much easier to recognise on a storyboard, so my suggestion reigned supreme.
