Yo, whoops, when I saved this composite of the two pages I accidentally left texture on the left page... so try to ignore why the colour scheme is a tad lighter than the right page.

I don't think I am gonna have time to do texture through and through. I will get all the pages done first, then go back in to the pages and do the elephant textures, and then if there is still time I will play around with more textures as necessary.

a WIP of a final, still wondering about textures. I think the elephant gains a little something from the leather texture, I have yet to add textures to anything else aside from the bars in the top left panel... and it doesn't really work there. I think I might print this soon, to see how the textures comes out. Its one thing on a screen, another on the page, in your hand.

So I was thinking I might switch up the method a little, instead of using a pencil rough and tracing an ink copy from that (see Old), I would try scanning the pencils in and colouring straight on top (see New).

I could also just ink straight in to photoshop, but my hand isn't very steady, so I would likely end up with stutter-y lines.

Dear. God. This has been a bit of a nightmare.

I just gotta move on the finals. My dialogue is crappy, but I cant do much about that, because English never was my strong suit.
